CHAPTER 19-26

a. If I will to organize the 100th Year Anniversary of The Little Prince Publication, my Little Prince-related activities would be related to the life of an animals because as our condition today, many people killed animals in order to survive from hungriness. They killed many animals to be used as a supply product.
b. The Little Prince have the adult quantity of being an adult minded . He understand many thing that an adult can understand. He also give advises whenever someone needs it. The child-like quantity is he is sometimes very curios about other things. And also he acts like a child way he think.
c. The Antoine de Saint Exupery novel is related to a man’s world where he has his own planet or a story of life. Many problems, enjoyable, and many question needs answers.
d. The Little Prince feel as gently as a tree fall after he was taken by a snake and the pilot saw his face it was white because he was bitten by a snake. Later, he sat down because he is afraid. The little prince remained motionless for an instant and then he did not cry out.
e. It is related to our life because when we have problems especially when we’re afraid, we hide our feelings to the people or pretend that we are okay but deep inside we are afraid.
f. The important message or truth about life that can we get from the following lines:
1. The message of this line “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly,
what is essential is invisible to the eye.” It tells us that never judge a person or a thing by its physical figure because we don’t know what is the person’s real attitude. Some people are beautiful but they have bad and worst attitude.
2. “I am responsible for what I have tamed”, said the fox. This means that not only people but also the animals need love and care. It tells that we have the responsible to love and to take good care of the people and animals because they need it.
3. “Words are the source of misunderstanding.” It tells that we must be careful of our words whenever we are talking somebody because we don’t know the words that we have said that it is a big insult to a person you are talking.
4. “What makes the dessert beautiful is that somewhere it hides its well.” Its means that the dessert is a quite place. Sees nothing, hears nothing and the one that makes the dessert beautiful. A silent and quite place. And if it is very hot, still there a chance to live. Its just like you thought that you don’t have anymore a chance but still you have.
5. “I thought I was rich with one flower, that was unique in all the world ; and all I had was a common rose .” It tells that we are wrong that having a things that unique, we are already contented. But we are happy with the simple thing or common.
6. “if you love a flower that lives on a star, it is sweet to look at the sky at night.” It tells that when you misses someone, you want to see him/her again.

h.) The adults are interesting in the things they like. They don’t want to explore a new thing. Like the geographer, they just waiting that someone will tell them what they saw. What if the explorer is wrong? Many people will believe even if it was wrong. The truth about the adults, that they need to see the truth first before they will write down the thing they discover. We don’t have to believe them because you trust them. We have to be sure about it.
i.) The pilot describe the planet earth that it is not just an ordinary planet. There are many grown ups there. The size of the earth is bigger than the all planets the little prince visited. I can describe the planet that it is a beautiful planet. But not all people has a good intention. Some people are bad and some are not.
j.) The snake made him say that is more powerful than the finger of a king and he also speaks in riddles because he solves all of them, because the little prince said to the snake that he is a funny animal and he is no thicker than a finger.
k.) That the people has feet and they can travel anywhere. The flower is saying the truth because the people are making there lives more difficult. What if the men will lost in the middle of the desert.

a.)Their reactions is like they don't understand the pilot so they advised him to lay aside his drawings and devote himself to geography, history, arithmetic, and grammar. Adults should treats children by listening their opinions and thoughts and also treat them as their friend.

b.)When the pilot drew a box with holes, the little prince thought that there was a sheep inside. That’s why we accept things by not looking at the physical form of it.

c.) Because he was in a funny Turkish costume that no one would believe him. It tells me that grown ups do not believe in children and they only believe those people who are dressed with impressive style and elegance.

d.) When the house is expensive and big. It tells me that adults are materialistic.

e.) Baobabs are trees that are big as a castle that place in a planet. They start being small until they grew up just like people, starting with childhood into adolescent.

f.) The little prince was angry and he stare at the pilot because the pilot talks just like the adults.

g.) A secret place, a land of tears is a place with sad emotions.

h.) A volcanoes maybe active or inactive. They may explode without knowing. It is like our emotions that sometimes we are too much irritated and we are like to explode.

i.) The flower. It's said that, "don't linger this. You have decided to go away. Now go!"

j.) The context behind is he coughed emotionally to capture the attention of the little prince because she don't want the little prince to live her. The people you will missed is the people who cared for you.

k.) They are close friends. And they cared to each other..

a.) The king was the one who uttered the line, “One must require from each one the duty which each one can perform” The real life significance of this line is accepted authority rests first of all on reason. If you ordered your people to go and throw themselves into the sea, without reason, they would rise up in revolution. They will not obey king or the one who is more powerful than them just because the king want to. They have a right to decide what they want to do in themselves. People need justice. Don’t force the one who don’t know how to do it or the one who can’t do it.
b.) The meaning of “It is much more difficult to judge oneself than to judge others” is you can judge others because you can see it in there outside and inside form. It’s simple because you are sure about the one you say and see. While judging yourself is difficult because you don’t know if it is true. You don’t know what people think about you or see about yourself.
c.) The meaning of “conceited people never hear anything but praise is” is they want to be admire by other people around them even if they didn’t see it in themselves. They want to be the most of all. They want to be praise and to be interested even you do not want or it’s very far to see. They hear nothing but praise because they want to be admire such as saying that they are the handsomest, The richest, the most intelligent and more. They didn’t suffer from any hearing problem. They want that they are admired by people. Even if they hear some questions, they don’t wanna answer because again they love to be praised and to be admire. They love to hear things that are related to them about admiration…
d.) The irony of the line “I am drinking so that I may forget” is for me, if you are drinking so that you may forget that you are drinking, you cannot forget that you are drinking. If you want to forget something, you can forget it in other ways. My father said that if you drink, you can forget something. Maybe… “ I am not drinking so that I cannot forget.” Some people said that they may forget there problems by drinking. But they said that it is bad in our health.
e.) The business man wants to be rich so that he can buy more stars, if any are discovered. Many people want to be rich so that they can buy the things they want. They want to be rich just for themselves. But some people are helping others like poor people.
f.) The meaning of “There is nothing to understand. Orders are orders” that orders must be followed. You don’t need to understand if you will not follow. The orders are not changed. You have to follow a terrible profession. In real life significance, many people are making orders to be followed in many people. But some of the people are not doing it or not obeying the rules or orders. Just like the grown ups.
g.) The little prince said that the lamplighter is the one of them all whom he could have made his friend. He is the only one of them all who does not seem to him ridiculous. It is because he is thinking of something else besides himself. I agree with the little prince because it is true. In all the grown ups he meet, he was just the one who is thinking for others beside himself. He are following orders even if he just rest in a small amount of minutes.
